NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF APPEAL & EQUALIZATION
APRIL 22, 2026, 6:00 PM
The Board of Appeal and Equalization for Princeton Township will meet on
Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Princeton Township Hall.
The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local Board of Appeal and Equalization. The Board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county Board of Appeal and Equalization.

NOTICE OF OFFICES TO BE VOTED FOR THE 2026 STATE GENERAL ELECTION
The following is the notice of federal and state offices that will be voted for at the state general election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
The filing period for United States Senator, United States Representative, State Senator, State Representative, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, Attorney General, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and Judge of the District Court begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Note: Filing offices will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.
The place of filing for federal offices is the Office of the Secretary of State, Veterans Services Building, 20 West 12th Street, St. Paul, MN 55155.
The place of filing for state offices is with the Office of the Secretary of State or with the county auditor of the county in which the candidate resides.Candidates may file in person or by mail if the filing is received during the filing period. Candidates who will be absent from the state during the filing period and meet the requirements of Minnesota Statutes section 204B.09, subdivision 1a, may arrange to file during the seven days immediately preceding the candidate’s absence from the state.
This notice is provided pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 204B.33 and is based on current law.

Candidates for judicial office may file either with the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State or with the County Auditor in the county where the candidate resides. A candidate filing for one of the Minnesota Court of Appeals seats that has been designated for one of the congressional districts must be a resident of that congressional district.

Notice is hereby given as that the Office of the Mille Lacs County Property Records and Taxation office will accept candidate filings for the General Election to be held in Mille Lacs County on November 3, 2026. The filing period for the offices listed below begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Filing offices will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of Memorial Day.
The last day to withdraw is June 4, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
